I want to give you a bit more of a welcome than this so, if you’d like more… click here. |

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CATHOLIC VIEW ON VACCINATION?
You can learn more about Pope Francis’s recent encouragement to all to get vaccinated with approved Covid-19 vaccines in the link below. Pope Francis referred to it as ‘an act of love.’ https:// www.vaticannews.va/en/pope/news/2021-08/pope-francis-appeal-covid-19-vaccines-act-of-love.html The Archdiocese of Brisbane supports COVID-19 vaccination except for those people with a valid medical exemption from their health professional. For our vulnerable parishioners, rest assured that Fr Denis, Debra and Mark are all fully vaccinated for COVID-19. |

Our Vinnie’s stores are DESPERATE for help. If you are looking for something worthwhile to do, then this could be it People who are marginalized in our community rely on these stores to help them out with clothing, household items, and toys, just to name few. Don’t let these stores close because they don’t have enough people to man them. So why not ring some of the stores and see if you can help out? Thank you and God Bless from the Stafford Vinnie’s Conference |

DONATIONS TO OUR PARISH
Here’s an easy way to donate to your parish even if you can’t be here every week (COVID, work, “grey nomading”, or other reasons), you don’t have “envelopes” and don’t carry cash. (We are TOTALLY self-funding - sadly, like your own family budget, there's no "money tree" that we can rely on.) TO REGISTER: Dive right in by scanning this QR code, (or you may like to use this link instead: https://parishgiving.brisbanecatholic.org.au ).If you need help, refer to Denis’ email for a link to instructions, or contact him directly. (NOTE - Don’t confuse this QR code with the ‘Check in Qld” App) Once you have registered, 1) Using the new App on your phone, 2) scanning the QR code (or 3) using the link- https://parishgiving.brisbanecatholic.org.au ) will lead you to a SECURE site where you can make a one-off do-nation or a recurring donation. (Copies of the QR code and the link will also be at church so that you can donate there as well/instead.) |
